eSCULPTURE eSTRATIFIC
La escultura estratificada nace del estudio de las diferentes formas escultóricas existentes. Al intentar ingeniar una nueva manera de esculpir.
La estratificación, consiste en plasmar directamente el boceto en 2D ó 3D sobre la plancha a esculpir, sin tener en cuenta que la proporción de dimensiones se verá afectada por la perspectiva.
Una vez representado el dibujo sobre la plancha está se recortará en capas (estratos) buscando el movimiento físico, el cambio de posición de las diferentes partes o el cambio de los sentidos, sentimientos o sensaciones con el tiempo.
La paleta de colores, así como las sombras se representarán directamente tal y como fueron concebidas en el dibujo original, independientemente de la luz; mediante el abuso de tonalidades de intensidad contrastada, como ejemplo la utilización de colores metalizados con colores pastel.
Stratified Sculpture
Stratified sculpture arises from the study of various existing sculptural forms, aiming to devise a new way of sculpting.
Stratification involves directly translating the sketch into 2D or 3D onto the sculpting surface, disregarding the fact that perspective will affect dimensional proportions.
Once the drawing is represented on the surface, it will be cut into layers (strata) seeking physical movement, changes in the position of different parts, or shifts in senses, feelings, or sensations over time.
The color palette, as well as shadows, will be directly represented as conceived in the original drawing, regardless of lighting; through the use of contrasted intensity tones, such as combining metallic colors with pastel shades.
